Service is a matter of course for us. Therefore, we do not offer service contracts that are subject to fees. Whenever you have a technical question or problem, just contact us. It is irrelevant whether your device has been acquired recently or is already 15 years old. We will help you in any case.
We grant a guarantee of 48 months from the date of purchase for all devices if they were purchased within the EU. For devices purchased outside the EU, we grant a guarantee of 24 months from the date of purchase.
Of course you can send your Power Choke Tester to us for recalibration. We will perform the manufacture calibration in-house within one to two working days. The calibration is based on international standards and includes a calibration certificate.
Further information of calibration process
At each calibration we open the devices and subject them to a thorough visual inspection. We also check the function of internal safety devices and circuits. For the factory calibration, we use specially developed, self-made inductance standards, which meet the special requirements through the pulse measurement procedure of our devices. Other inductance standards commonly used in calibration laboratories are usually unsuitable because they are neither designed for high pulse currents nor have sufficient frequency response. Since our devices can also operate with very short pulse times of <3 μs, the frequency response of the ohmic resistance is also important for the precision of the inductance measurement. For customers from overseas, we offer a calibration kit including calibration instructions, which can be used to perform the calibration either by the customer themselves or by a local calibration laboratory. It contains three long-term stable, very accurate inductance standards (100 μH, 1 mH, 10 mH) in the ABS / PA rack, a low impedance switchable resistor array (6 values from 10 mΩ to 10 Ω, < 0,08%, TK < 20ppm) and a test lead set. For the model DPG10-100B, DPG10-3000B/E and DPG10-4000B/F additional inductance standards are necessary, which can be supplied separately.
For our customers in Europe, the calibration in our house is, however, more economical and sensible, since a necessary adjustment can only be done by us.
We perform repairs or recalibrations quickly and at fair conditions (usually within one or two working days).

We are continuously developing our software. Software updates are always free. The software package includes the DPG10 software, the actual version of the instruction manual and the demo application of LabVIEW VIs for integration in automated testing environments.
3rd Generation (from 02/2017):
The 3rd generation software V3.x.x is required to operate the devices of the Power Choke Tester DPG10 B series that were delivered from 02/2017.
The last version that saves the measurement data solely in XML format is version 3.4.61f.
From version 3.5.x onwards, you can select during installation whether the measurement data should be saved in XML format or in a database. If the database mode is selected, in addition to the main application, a production application can also be installed that has been optimized for routine testing in mass production.
Before installing a version 3.5.x or higher, we strongly recommend that you carefully read the “Installing the Software” chapter in the user manual so that you can choose the desired installation options.
The latest version is V3.9.3.
2nd Generation (07/2012 to 02/2017):
The 2nd generation software V2.x.x is required to operate the devices of the Power Choke Tester DPG10 A series that were delivered from 07/2012 to 02/2017. This software is no longer being further developed.
The latest version is version V2.6.38.
1st Generation (2005 to 06/2012):
The 1st generation software V1.x is required to operate the devices of the Power Choke Tester DPG10 A series that were delivered between 2005 and 06/2012. This software is based on Excel VBA and is no longer being further developed.
The latest version is version V1.9g.
